How to Wear White Denim in Winter.
Think white denim is only a summertime thing? Think again! I always love pulling out my white jeans during the holidays for a festive look – the white pops so nicely against red and green and white denim always feels a little more elevated than your everyday blue jeans. Now, white jeans wouldn’t usually be my first choice to wear Christmas tree hunting but I recently grabbed a pair of Old Navy’s “Stay White” Rockstar Skinny Jeans and really wanted to put ’em to the test. The jeans are made with a high tech fabric that actually repels stains and spills so the worry of stains are basically a thing of the past.
The weather has been a bit crisp in San Francisco which means I’ve been all about layers lately. A basic striped boatneck tee is always the perfect starter piece when it comes to layering and I love how the stripes contrast with the texture in this sweater. And this coat? I spotted a co-worker wearing it one day and immediately had to ask her where it was from and order one from Old Navy for myself – it’s just so cute! The buffalo plaid pattern feels festive while still being wearable all winter long and best of all… it’s under $50, making it a total must.
