As a kid I can very clearly remember the importance and stress that came with deciding on an outfit for the first day of school. You had to look cool and wear something new that no one had seen before. It was the pressure of first impressions (even though you pretty much knew everyone already after years of going to school together) that still feels all too familiar sometimes as an adult. I actually started a new job a few weeks ago and wore this outfit as my “first day look” because of how easy yet pulled together it is. Patterned pants tend to do all the work for you and with the help of a bright bag, you’re all set and ready to make a solid first impression.
