2015 travel wish list.
Anyone else dealing with a serious case of wanderlust? After last year’s seemingly non-stop adventures, I’m totally hooked and finding myself daydreaming of travel. To help make these plans happen (and make sure I’m saving up both money and vacation days!), I’ve pulled together a little list of places near and far I’m dying to visit in 2015.
Iceland // This will likely be our biggest trip of 2015 but it’s been somewhere I’ve wanted to go forever! Fun fact: one of the first brands I ever worked on in my ad agency career was Reyka Vodka which meant I spent a lot of time researching Icelandic culture to help with creative ideation and understanding the brand! Another fun fact: Blaine is actually part Icelandic and has family there.
Big Sur // I have been dreaming of driving the Pacific Coast Highway for awhile now and becoming a California resident has made this a mandatory. Every single photo I’ve seen of Big Sur is absolutely breathtaking and I’m thinking this may be the perfect getaway for my birthday next month.
Tulum // It seems like Tulum recently became a blogger hot spot and there has been a sudden influx of Instagram shots featuring crystal clear waters and breathtaking beaches. I’d imagine a trip to Tulum would include lots of relaxation and time spent soaking up the sunshine with a cocktail in hand.
Portland // The Pacific Northwest is a place I’ve yet to explore and I’ve heard a lot of great things about Portland’s cool vibes and gorgeous coastline and hiking spots. Bonus points for a trip that would definitely involve a stop at Voodoo Donuts!
Napa Valley // And last but not least, Wine Country! It’s pretty amazing to me that some phenomenal wines are now basically in my backyard. I’ve heard great things about visiting vineyards via the Wine Train or a bike tour and can’t wait to stock our apartment with some local wine.
Have you been to any of these places? Do you have any recommendations for places to stay, things to do, see or eat? What’s on your travel wish list for 2015? Do you have any trips booked for this year?
