I’ll admit, when I received the invite to attend Eddie Bauer Blogger Day and style some of the brand’s holiday collection, I was a bit skeptical.  I tried to remember the last time I had even been in an Eddie Bauer store and just kept getting flashbacks to shopping with my mom, but when I looked through the lookbook preview, I was pleasantly surprised.  Lots of plaid, cozy knits and amazing leather pieces!! The brand seems to be revamping their image to appeal to a younger generation, while still staying true to their classic, casual roots.

I brought my lovely friend Alison along with me and we were pretty excited to be let loose on a giant rack of clothes, multiple shoe options (including the most amazing Sperry boots ever), and a table full of accessories (all jewelry is under $60!!).  We decided to play dress up ourselves and then style the male model (who even made up a little song about being a lumberjack when he came out in his outfit).

Thank you to Eddie Bauer for the great event and for making me rethink the brand – a couple of pieces from their holiday collection are now at the top of my wishlist for this winter!!
