The whole co-habitating thing is in full swing over here and with almost one full week of empty apartment living under our belts, we’ve been busy planning and scheming about how to decorate this new space of ours. I’ve learned very quickly that decorating as a couple is all about compromise, my friends, and while my days of gold polka dot walls are likely over, I am still pretty darn excited about how this apartment will look once it’s finished.

Before moving to SF, Blaine and I both sold off the majority of our furniture leaving us with a blank slate (literally, we’re sitting on the floor at the moment!). This means we’ve got some shopping to do to make this apartment of ours feel like home. The first room to have our attention? Our living room.
